Thermi Radio Frequency Skin Tightening Treatment
Thermi is our radio frequency device with different settings and hand pieces geared to address different concerns. This treatment can be used for tightening skin almost anywhere; around the eyes, temples, jowls, neck, cheeks, forehead, knees, arms, abdomen, etc. It can also melt fat in larger areas such as arms, abdomen, thighs, and back. It has NO downtime!
Thermi is one of our non-invasive treatments geared for smaller areas like the face or with a different hand piece it can be used on larger areas like the abdomen or lower back. Using a specially designed hand piece with controlled temperature, the skin is heated to a specific temperature that stimulates the fibroblasts to produce NEW collagen therefore tightening and smoothing the loose skin. Unlike lasers, there is no problem treating the upper and lower eyelids.
This is our favorite option for patients with a moderately sagging skin in areas on the face. The thin skin that has lost its fullness is exactly what the Thermi radio frequency heat goes after. We also love to treat the loose skin around the belly button or the knees that starts to sag with age, we have seen amazing results with treatments to many different areas of the body to defeat that loose skin or extra, unwanted fat!
If Dr. Newman feels that your treatment plan needs something a little more invasive we also offer our invasive version of the Thermi treatment where the probe will go under the skin to melt fat, tighten the loose, wrinkled skin and stimulate collagen. This invasive version of the Thermi procedure will have a little bit of downtime. All treatment options will be decided in a consultation with Dr. Newman and together you will figure out the best procedure for your skin and concerns!
