Laser Treatments

Lasers use specific wavelengths of light to target different tissues for treatment.  Each laser is used for different treatments and each is associated with its own benefits, side-effects and risks.

Non-ablative lasers
Examples: IPL (Intense Pulse Light), V-Beam, Aura I, Coolglide, Titan, Zerona, Blue-U
The Titan laser is used to tighten loose skin and fine wrinkles on any part of the body - forehead, eyes, face, jowls, neck, arms, thighs, knees, etc… It is an in-and-out procedure.  No anesthetic and no recovery time.
Non-invasive, painless, affordable series of treatments to lose excess fat from any part of the body – neck, arms, abdomen, sides, back, thighs, knees, calves, ankles, etc…

Ablative Fractionated
Example: Fraxel
Fractionated lasers are safer and have less side-effect but may need to be repeated to achieve results similar to non-ablative lasers for wrinkle correction and skin resurfacing.

Ablative Non-Fractionated
Examples: Erbium, CO2
These lasers have been replaced for the most part by the newer fractionated versions due to safety, patient comfort, and faster recovery times.
