Botox, Myobloc & Dysport

For Wrinkle Correction:
All are derived from botulinum toxin. When injected into the muscles of facial expression, such as muscles around the eyes that cause the "crow's-feet" and the "frown-lines" caused by the action of the muscles between the eyes, the toxin temporarily paralyzes the muscle and relaxes the skin. If injections are made every 3 months for a year or two the muscles weaken and lose their strength to wrinkle the skin for much longer time.

For Face and Neck Shaping:
Advanced cosmetic surgery techniques use Botox to shape the eyes, nose, lips, chin & neck.

For Hyperhidrosis:
Botox also is a treatment for hyperhidrosis. When injected into the skin botulinum toxin blocks the receptors that cause sweating and therefore reduces the perspiration on the palms of the hands, soles of the feet and underarms.
